Traffic safety at HIP Petrohemija

In order to preserve the health and safety of employees, protect infrastructure and plants, as well as to ensure the smooth flow of the process, HIP Petrohemija applies clear and strictly defined rules of traffic safety within the factory area

Traffic safety

General requirements for driving vehicles:

The vehicle can be operated on the territory of HIP Petrohemija only by persons with valid permits, confirmed medical certificates, and completed training for the appropriate category of vehicle.
Maximum permitted speed of movement of the vehicle:
- 20 km/h within the factory area;
- 5 km/h in confined spaces, work zones, and warehouses.
During repairs, maintenance, refueling, and lubrication, the engine of the vehicle must be switched off.
Vehicles can be washed exclusively in designated areas, in accordance with internal environmental and safety regulations.
Upon completion of work, the vehicle must be parked in a designated and safe zone, with the mandatory removal of the ignition key.
It is forbidden to leave the engine running in a confined space. If necessary for technical reasons, adequate ventilation must be provided to prevent the accumulation of exhaust gases.

Private Vehicles

All traffic safety rules apply to private vehicles of employees and contractors upon arrival at and departure from work.
